Firefly Catcher is my entry for the CGDC Speedgame 2025

The Jam Theme is Hope in Darkness

The Game is about finding Fireflys in a Dark Forest. It is an interpretation of the theme, as Fireflys represent hope and light when all around you is dark, like the forest is... at night... like in this game...

It's quick collectathon with no enemies and some nice lofi music, I hope it helps you to find hope and relax, like that Flower game from ThatGameCompany...

Keyboard Controls:

• W,S,A,D or Arrow Keys = Move Around
• Spacebar = Jump
• ESC Key = Pause Menu
• Mouse Look = Look Around

XBOX 360 Controller Controls:

• Left Joystick or D-Pad = Move Around
• A Button = Jump
• Start Button = Pause Menu
• Right Joystick = Look Around

Note... even though the game works with a controller, some of the menus may need to still be operated / selected via a mouse
